Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall Cover

Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall… ’ is a collection of short crime fiction… with a twist. Each story features the old nursery rhyme, ‘Humpty Dumpty’ as an integral part of the plot.

Oh, there’s another twist. All the stories are written by students of Liberal Arts at the Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, Pune, who studied the Creative Writing Course offered by Dr Hilda David.

And, in yet another twist, while Dr David taught us the intricacies of writing crime and gave us the nursery rhyme as a building block to plot our grizzly modus operandi, and remained a steadfast mentor during the process of writing, the book has been edited by us, students, ourselves.

It has been a learning experience for all of us involved during the making of this book. I, on behalf of my fellow students, do hope you too will enjoy reading the stories, as we did writing them.
